Category: Continuing Education

If you’re facing challenges in your professional life, you’re not alone. Mental, legal, ethical, and physical—you have to balance a lot! Join us for interactive presentations exploring the themes of managing helplessness, conquering legal and ethical issues in clinical supervision, and correcting other frequent clinician mistakes.

This CE is not connected and may be taken individually for individual credit. This CE will be held on one day for 3 hours, 15 minutes and will be presented online as a live Zoom workshop.

February 5th, 9 AM – 12:15 PM

Dr. Frankel’s first workshop on February 5th will split its time exploring two issues. The first, Helplessness and Learned Helplessness, includes material highly valued by past attendees. Dr. Frankel will lecture on management techniques, and also open the floor to attendees to share their own past challenges. The second, Legal and Ethical Issues in Clinical Supervision, will cover APA guidelines for clinical supervision in health service psychology, APA Board of Educational Affairs supervision guidelines, and AAFMT and NASW supervision guidelines.
